Importance of a Resume for the Recent College Graduate
Written by Kathy Marshall, Professional Resume Writer
Even if you have no real work experience there is a whole lot you can say on your resume. You need to prepare a resume as you prepare for your entry into the world of work.
After getting your degree, or months before it is actually bestowed, you are going to need a resume. It might be the next most important piece of paper after your degree.
Send out your resume months before you graduate. Have one ready for all the on campus employers who are likely to visit your institution. Include information such as: your educational major, the highlights of some of your major courses, the offices you held, and any sports you played - anything else that shows you are intelligent, active, and have a lot to offer.
You really do have a lot to say. Let our resume writers get you off on the right foot in the work world. We can show the employer how you worked your way through college, how your internship was valuable, or how working on school projects prepared you for greater things.
